I made a really quick stop to a grocery store on my way home the other day. I bought a drink that looked like a Gatorade because I was feeling a bit of low blood sugar after a long run. I probably should have read the label because about an hour after drinking it I started to feel crazy exhaustion and got a major headache. I thought maybe I had eaten something wrong and was trying to figure it out. Turns out the "Gatorade" was actually a drink called "A sparkling orange glucose drink" which means I drank pure sugar basically. 64.2 carbs in the bottle. That would be like eating more  than an entire meal for me on my diabetic meal plan. My sugar was at 497 when I checked it. Lesson learned- read the label!
